First frame taken with the camera, that is Yev enjoying his food and watching some tv ... 1/30 or 1/15 I think at f2.8 hand held
Got to start working out again ...this thing is like a ton.
Ohh ya all pics are neg scans the b/w are HP5 and the colour ones are Kodak NC400 - if you guys care ...
Had to have a cat shot how can you now while testing out the camera. This is the cat trying to get food off the table. Cute?
I managed to get a pic of everyone in my family with the new camera. 1 in bw the other 2 are colour
This is my mom, I don’t think she know this is going up but I hope she will forgive me. SORRY :)
This is my dad out on the deck getting some not so fresh air ... yay pollution. Kidding for now the air quality seems ok. Yay for warm weather.
My bro on the deck ... just wanted a plain portrait so used the nice brick wall as background. And than he gave me his dramatic pose LOL
Ok onward we go....
Just something I though looked cool, this is from a visit to 'the Dump' this is located near the Toronto Zoo. The hill in the back ground well I think the whole area we were standing in and around used to be a landfill. It not being 'revitalize' there are some pond and more trees have been planted. More about this place later on, I got some colour shots from there as well.
Mr Vit again, he has a UBER account but not as active on it. Some more f2.8.. yummy
How could I know...especially after all that learning. Maybe I should have written stuff on it and WOO art in a snap. Taking the 'ready made' to a whole new level.
And usually the seat is down, well at least when I am done with it. Not really sure why since it's mine and my bro's washroom. Guess I am practicing for what the future hold :)
A shot to do a small comparison. This is the bw version ... well duh
And here is the colour.
Lets rewind a bit. This is how I start off the colour roll
This is my house ... well not mine but you know what I mean.
On my walk to more pictures someone noticed me, well the camera by yelling at me 'HASSALBLAD ehhhh?' So I stopped and had a little chat found out this man who lives like 1 min from my house is kind of a photographer doing like nature stuff, and as he told me 'gigs that the pro's don’t want'
So on I went
The colours just caught my eye. Guess I learned something in colour class woo go yellow and blue.
A bench in a park near my house. Hmm I think time to invest in a lens hood as far as I understand that’s what that blob is. Still like the image so that’s why I show it.
Flower in my moms garden. Too bad they don't last too long.
On to a coffee trip downtown. And what do you know it the weather hated me that day so it rained.
Yev... waiting/hopping for the rain to stop. This is mix of outside light and the indoor tungsten, hence the colour case. Again if anyone is wondering.
I swear I think I need to go to rehab for this stuff. I have way too many picture of coffee cup in different posses so to say lol. Got a bw version slightly different composition but I went with this one.
This was shot sometime in between the walking and the coffee. This is my flowers it got from Yulia, she also gave me a cupcake thing saying 'Happy 24th B-Day'. Nice of her very unexpected as well. So I captured them before they died.
Back to 'the Dump' we go... this time in COLOUR
This is part of Rouge River, this is a great little place its like a nice escape from this city even though its only a 20 min drive if that. Sadly can't escape the city completely, stupid power lines always there.
There were some train cars parked, not sure what they are used for but though they kind of looked cool.
An important part of a train. They are MASSIVE, pure steal...anyone wana pimp their ride. That’s like some 60 inchers for you...just got to find some nice shoes for emm lol :P
The is the last image for today and just wanted to shoot some clouds. Don’t know why kind of feel like doing a cloud study, I know its a bit as some would say art-donkey like but don’t know seems like could be cool especially if the clouds looked like stuff. But I need to invest in a polarizer that fits that lens, holding my other one in front of me isn't the best solution. And just an FYI that black spot is 99% to be part of my hand I was using to shade the lens from the sun to minimize glare.
Well hope you guys enjoyed some of the images and thanks for looking. Next on the list is to finish of that roll of APX 400 shot at 1600. GRAIN anyone??
Ohh and if anyone has work for me I'll take that as well, that or free money either way let me know.
Peace out from the Tdot
